RBSA Prize Exhibition

Deadline: May 16, 2012 (RECEIVE) by 4.00pm

RBSA Prize Exhibition
RBSA Gallery

St Paul’s, Birmingham
United Kingdom
24 May to 16 June 2012

The Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA) is an artist-led charity which supports artists and promotes engagement with the visual arts through a range of inclusive activities: exhibitions, workshops and demonstrations.

We own and run the RBSA Gallery and, as part of our work to support artists, stage an annual ‘Prize’ exhibition. Each artist may enter three 2D works or six 3D works for the exhibition.

There are several prizes each year and selection is by an independent panel of adjudicators.

Judges: Stephen Snoddy, Director and his colleague Neil Lebeter, Archive Curator of the New Art Gallery, Walsall.

Media accepted

All media are accepted (except photography). All work must be original; no reproductions of original work (e.g. giclée/digital prints) may be submitted. Works including jewellery, ceramics and textiles as well as drawing, painting and printmaking are all welcome. Work that has already been exhibited at the RBSA within the last 5 years can be submitted. The decisions of the independent judges are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Submission fees

2D works - £19.00 per item (maximum 3 items)
3D works (e.g. sculpture, ceramics, jewellery) - £19.00 per 2 items (maximum 6 items)
