9th Annual International MFA/MA Exhibit
Deadline: May 22, 2015 {ONLINE}
MASTER PIECES
9th Annual International MFA/MA Exhibit
Manifest Creative Research Gallery
Cincinnati, OH
July 10, 2015 to August 7, 2015
Manifest offers an opportunity just for graduate students to exhibit at our gallery in Cincinnati. This ninth installment of the Master Pieces project will continue to reveal the intensity and professionalism of students working towards their terminal academic degree in the field of art or design. Often the most exceptional work comes out of these artists’ immersion in their culture of study and intellectual pursuit.
Manifest’s goal, therefore, is to select works that in the truest sense of the word are contemporary masterpieces – in other words works that set the standard of quality that the artist is expected to maintain throughout his or her professional career and justify the degree of Master.
ELIGIBILITY
Master Pieces is open to current MFA/MA students or MFA/MA graduates since January 2014. All entries must represent original works of art or design.
MEDIA
Open to any and all traditional and non-traditional visual arts media, genre, subject matter, and content. There is no thematic guideline. Media may include but is not limited to: drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, installation, video, etc.
Manifest's carefully assembled juries change from project to project, and as a body have no collective predisposition towards any particular kind or style of art.
ENTRY FEE
$36 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional entry. Fees are non-refundable. Number of entries is unlimited.
