The BCA's Artist Residency Program provides a platform and support for the development of new work, while simultaneously offering artists unique opportunities to connect and collaborate with our community. Artists-in-residence each receive studio and funding support during their fifteen-week stay at the BCA.
The BCA is now accepting applications for the 2014-2015 Artist Residency Program.

COMPETITION RULES (truncated--listing order revised to fit this format)
A separate entry form and fee is required for each entry. Photocopies ARE accepted.
1. Quilt / Hanging to be entered into one of the following categories:
(This means that you can only enter into one category - e.g. a group or under 16 quilt cannot be entered into the theme)
(a) THEME ENTRY ~ “Beside the Sea”
Size: between 24” & 115”. At least one side must be over 24” and all sides must be under 115”.
(b) BED QUILT
To fit single, double or king size bed. Maximum size: 115”
(c) SMALL WALL HANGING
Size: between 24” and 60”. At least one side must be over 24” and all sides must be under 60”.
(d) LARGE WALL HANGING
Size: between 60” and 115”. At least one side must be over 60” and all sides must be under 115”.
(e) COT QUILT
(f) MINIATURE / DOLL QUILT
Size: all sides must be under 24”. Cannot be entered into the theme category.
(g) FRIENDSHIP/GROUP QUILT
A quilt made by 3 persons or more - includes Round Robin quilts. Cannot be entered into the theme category.
Size: between 24” & 115”. At least one side must be over 24” and all sides must be under 115”.
(h) UNDER 16 YEARS
A quilt made by a person or persons under the age of 16. Cannot be entered into the theme category.
Size: between 24” & 115”. At least one side must be over 24” and all sides must be under 115”.
(i) CUSHION
Size: to accept 14” - 18” cushion pads only. 1 cushion per entry. No pre-printed panels please.
(j) WHOLECLOTH QUILT (AMATEUR)
Size: between 24” & 115”. At least one side must be over 24” and all sides must be under 115”. Strictly no professional quilters please.
2. All entries, except Miniature /Doll Quilts MUST have a 4 inch deep sleeve stitched to the top back to facilitate hanging.
3.The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence can be entered into.
4. There will be a one day FREE TICKET to the Show per entry.
Overseas/International entries accepted.
