New Perspectives is a show for experimental and dynamic works of art that manipulate how we perceive our world. Strike imagination with saturation and help us facilitate community with color. New Perspectives is a members' show for all mediums, both 2D and 3D, that explore inventive viewpoints in expressive or unique ways. Whether you play with foreshortening, juxtapose perspectives, dabble in the surreal, or have a new narrative to share with our community, this is the show for you!

Members are welcome to submit up to three pieces of art for this exhibition.

Art We Use: A National Exhibition of Objects both Everyday and Special
ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS ENTRIES
MATERIAL
Innovative use of material is encouraged. Work may be created in any media, inclusive of, but not limited to, metal, wood, glass, plastic, duct tape, paper, fiber, polymer, recycled material, stone, rubber, natural material, electronics, and more.
AUTHORSHIP
All works eligible for consideration must be original and of independent or collaborative effort. Artists must be 18 years or older.
DATE OF WORK
Entries must have been made within the past 5 years, and not been previously shown at The Dairy Barn Arts Center.
SUBMISSIONS
Each artist may submit 3 pieces with up to 3 details/views per piece.
Submission of a work of art to this competition and the artist’s completion of the entry form shall be understood to constitute an agreement on the part of the artist to all the conditions set forth. This will also grant The Dairy Barn Arts Center the rights to reproduce and distribute the images through print and electronic media for promotion of the exhibition and entrants. Artists will retain all copyrights to their work.
ENTRY IMAGES
Three (3) pieces will be accepted with up to 3 images per entry. Images should be in focus, clean and clear. The work should appear as you would wish it to be reproduced. Images must be of completed work, NOT WORK IN PROGRESS.
Should artists wish to show the functionality of a work, a demonstrative video will be accepted in place of one image.
ENTRY FEE
Nonrefundable entry fee of $40.00 is required for up to three entries total
JURORS
Craig Nutt, Jennifer Poellot Harnetty, Paul Richelson
AWARDS
There will be over $10,000 in awards available for works including:
Best of Show - $2,500.
3 Juror’s Awards @ $1,500. each
Best Use of Materials
Best Environmental Statement
Emerging Artist Under 30 Years
Eminent Artist Over 70 Years
