The Tiny Art Show is an annual exhibition and fundraiser for the Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge for our educational and outreach fund. Anyone may enter, and all media and appropriate subject matter is accepted, however, the staff has the right to reject any work for work sized wrong or inappropriate subject matter. 50% of all sales go to the Arts Council; however, we appreciate additional support through a complete sale donation if the artist chooses this option.
Eligibility
This exhibition is open to all artists, craftsman, community members, adult or child. Any media and subject matter is eligible. All pieces must not exceed 5”x5”x7” in any direction. Work must be available for the entire exhibit and must be for sale.
Pricing, Sales, & Donation
Work must be priced at either $5 or $10. If the “juried” box is checked on the inventory sheet, the work may be juried and re-priced to be $25 or $50 by Emerge Gallery. $5 and $10 are the only price options for the show.
Entries & Fees

Textile Center Shop

April 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012
Textile Center is a national center for fiber art whose mission is to honor textile traditions and promote excellence and innovation in fiber art.
Eligibility
• Applicants must be 18 years or older. All artwork must be executed by the applicant Original designs preferred; if design is not original, please indicate pattern designer.
• Accepted applicants will be required to have a current Textile Center membership.
Submissions
• Artwork may include unique gift items, home décor, wearables, accessories and/or seasonal items.
• Applicants may submit up to three (3) different items of artwork (ex. purses, quilts, baskets) to be juried. Applicants may submit up to 3 samples of each item.
• Each sample must be labeled with
a) artist’s initials
b) simple description (i.e. green knitted scarf)
c) materials used (i.e. mohair)
d) full retail price
• Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Jurying
• Artwork will be juried by the Textile Center Shop Jury Committee, comprised of Textile Center Board Member(s), Textile Center Staff and individuals from the local art community.
• Artwork must meet the standards of Textile Center’s mission of excellence and innovation in fiber art.
Jury Fee: $25
Consignment Agreement
• Accepted artists must sign a Consignment Agreement effective April 1, 2011 - March 31, 2012
• Textile Center retains 40% commission of the full retail price.
Artists are responsible for keeping adequate amounts of inventory and refreshing artwork as needed.
