NARS Foundation
Sunset Park, Brooklyn

Juniors, Seniors and Recent Undergrads
Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center
Cincinnati, OH
May 29, 2015 to June 26, 2015
Every year Manifest surveys work by students and recent graduates of art and design programs, seeking to assemble, promote, and document examples of the excellence being achieved by 'new' or emerging artists for Rites of Passage. This exhibit, season publication, and award are intended to support that emergence.
For an eleventh straight year we offer this challenge to students and the recently graduated in regional, national, international college undergraduate programs to show us what you've achieved, bring it off campus, and share it with our international viewing public.
We believe there exists tremendous unexposed quality among people pursuing degrees in the visual arts. Revealing new artists is part of our non-profit mission!
This exhibit will feature the best work from artists about to receive or recently awarded an undergraduate degree from a regional, national, or international college art or design program. All entrants must have received or be scheduled to receive a college undergraduate degree in 2014, 2015, or 2016, and provide an academic reference’s contact info.
ELIGIBILITY
Entrants must have graduated or plan to graduate in 2014, 2015, or 2016 from an undergraduate program of art or design.
MEDIA

ENTRY FEE
$36 for up to three entries submitted. $10 per each additional entry. Fees are non-refundable. Number of entries is unlimited.
JURY AND CURATOR
Manifest's selection process involves a complex two-part system. This exhibit will be juried by an anonymous 5-9 member panel of professional and academic advisers with a broad range of expertise relative to art and design. Mendocino Art Center Artist in Residence Program 2014/15
Deadline: April 11, 2014 (RECEIVE)
Artist in Residence Program 2014/15
Mendocino Art Center
Mendocino, California
September 2014 through May 2015
The AIR program provides a community-based environment that facilitates both educational and individual artistic growth at the Mendocino Art Center (MAC).
The AIR program was developed to bring emerging and established artists to this unique Northern California region. It provides both time and space for AIRs to develop their work. The MAC residency year runs from third week in September to mid-May.
Overview
The experience of living and working at MAC is shaped in many ways by its coastal location and by the singularly unique nature of its diverse facility. At MAC, we strive to provide an enriching experience that promotes an awareness of the arts with a global consciousness.
Qualifications
The program welcomes self-motivated, focused individuals working in traditional or non-traditional studio arts, and independent creative endeavors, from mixed media to writing. Applicants should hold a BA, BFA, MFA or life equivalency representing an established foundation of knowledge and body of work in their respective discipline. The primary basis for selection is the strength and quality of the applicant's work.
Artist residents must also have a clear objective for the time of their residency and be willing to live and work as part of a close-knit community. A successful residency depends in part on expectations consistent with what MAC has to offer. Applicants with no prior connection to MAC are strongly encouraged to visit or take a
class before applying for the program. It is also advised to contact the Coordinator specific to your studio practice or the Education Director for an independent type residency.
