Visions Museum of Textile Art (VMOTA) is proud to announce the call for entries for Quilt Visions 2024, the museum's 25th international juried exhibition.  Exhibition jurors will select work exemplifying art quilting at the highest level of quality, innovation, surface design techniques, excellence in composition, and craftsmanship. 
 
Selected works will be featured in a full-color exhibition catalog. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Quilt Visions 2024 will be on display at VMOTA in San Diego, from October 12 to December 28, 2024. Selected artists will receive further information regarding participation during Quilt Visions 2024 Festival Days. Festival Days will include workshops, lectures, artist meet and greets, receptions and other gatherings. Participation by selected artists is highly encouraged but not required.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND ELIGIBILITY

Entry is open to the general public. Museum membership is not required.

Artists may submit up to three (3) entries. Only one (1) entry by each artist may be selected.

The non-refundable fee for entering up to three (3) works is $40 for all VMOTA members and $50 for non-members. To become a member click here vmota.org/join/.
 
Artwork submitted for consideration must have been completed on or after January 1, 2022 and not having been exhibited at a venue within a 100 mile radius of San Diego.

Artwork must be original and produced by the individual or a collaboration of a maximum of two (2) artists. Works created in a workshop or class are not eligible for submission.

Artworks for sale are strongly encouraged; however, NFS (Not for Sale) works may be entered.

ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS
  • An entry is considered to be a quilt if it is composed of at least two layers that are stitched or fastened together.
  • Each entry may be no larger than 72" by 72". There is no minimum size requirement.
  • Quilts must have a 3 inch sleeve securely attached to the back of the quilt. Quilts 50" or wider must have a center opening to allow for the hanging system VMOTA uses. A second sleeve at the bottom of the work is recommended.
  • Artwork must be clearly labeled with the artist's name and the title of the artwork.

Indie Revolution Craft Show

St. Louis Craft Mafia
St. Louis Artist Guild
April 30, 2011 to May 1, 2011


The St. Louis Artists' Guild will host Indie Craft Revolution, an indie art and craft market organized by the St. Louis Craft Mafia on Saturday, April 30th 2011 from 11a.m. to 5p.m. and Sunday, May 1st 11a.m. to 4p.m.

Booth Fees
All table spaces are limited to the available space on top of a 4ft, 6ft or 10ft table.
If you would like more space, please request a tent space. There are a limited number of 4ft, 6ft and 10ft booth spaces available. There are also a limited number of spaces for outside tents. Table spaces will be available on the first
floor, second floor and patio (under large tent). Tent spaces will be available along the circle drive in front of the building and on the East side of the building. Each space will be filled on a first paid first served basis.

1. How do you decide who will be in the show?
· The Indie Revolution Craft Show is a juried show. The IRCS will let you know of your participation status within 2 weeks of the close of the application period.

2. What kind of tables do you have for use?
· Artist’s are required to supply their own tables, chairs, power cord and trash containers.

3. I changed my mind can I get my money back?
· Booth fees are non refundable

4. What if my preferred spot is already taken?
· Vendor sales locations are at the discretion of the Indie Revolution Craft Show Staff.
