2013 Exhibit Season



The Dairy Center for the Arts invites artists and arts organizations from the United States and beyond to submit proposals for individual and group shows of any and all visual art mediums, for the year 2013. In addition, through The Dairy’s Colorado Community Curator (CCC) program, any Colorado resident may submit a proposal for a show that includes the work of artists from any state or any country. The person submitting the proposal will be considered the exhibitor and will be responsible for the exhibit.

Artists who have had an individual show or exhibited two or more pieces in a group show at The Dairy, may not exhibit there for 24 months following that show.

No artist may exhibit work at The Dairy that has been shown in the Boulder area in the 12 months prior to his/her Dairy exhibition.

It is encouraged that work exhibited at The Dairy shall be no more that three years old at the time of exhibit although exceptions may be made by the jury and/or The Dairy’s Curator. Work that is older than three years may be submitted to the jury with an exhibit proposal in order to demonstrate artistic ability, intent and style.

The Dairy has an eleven member Visual Art Committee (the VAC) that juries all entries. The VAC is comprised of faculty members from the department of Fine Art and from the College of Architecture and Planning at the University of Colorado, professional artists, and experienced art collectors.
