Eligibility & Entries
Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Entries may be any fiber art piece that primarily exhibits the use of shibori dyeing technique(s).
This may include, but is not limited to, art cloth, wearable art, fiber collage or 3 dimensional sculpture. Pieces should be maximum 42 in wide by 72 inches high.
All entries must artist's original design or concept and executed solely by the artist. If a garment
pattern(s) is used, credit must be given to the designer/pattern maker.
Juror
All entries will be juried by Yoshiko Wada and jury decisions are final.
Exhibition & Sales
All accepted artwork must remain in the Gallery for the duration of the exhibition.
All accepted artwork must be for sale.
Textile Center retains 40 percent (%) commission on all sales made directly from the exhibition.
Schedule
Notification letters to all entrants will be mailed by April 11, 2008.
Applicat ion Guidelines
Entry Fee $25.00 per artist; Artwork Maximum of 2 pieces per artist
Images
Digital images accepted at minimum resolution 1000 x 1000 pixels, .jpg format.
Images should be submitted on a CD-RO M.
