Submission Guidelines
Only work submitted by those born on or after January 1, 1989 will be considered
Any piece worked with a threaded needle will be considered. This includes but is by no means limited to embroidery, beading, quilting, collage, etc.
Pieces submitted must be the sole work of the student. Pieces created from kits will be considered but any pattern or kit used must be noted on the entry form with proper credit given to its creator.
In order to represent the wide range of art being created by youth today, students of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to submit work.
Only pieces which were created or mostly worked on in the 2007 calendar year will be considered.
Entry forms must be received no later than January 1, 2008. Entries will be accepted via post or email.
There is no entry fee and students may submit up to three pieces. A color photograph or digital image is required with each entry. Images may be used in EGA print materials and on the EGA website. Photographs or CDs will not be returned and must be clearly labeled with the artist’s name and the title of the piece. Do not send in the actual piece.
Notification of acceptance will be mailed February 1, 2008.
The EMRC will accept and display as many pieces as possible. Pieces may be rotated during the course of the exhibition.
