The department of art and design at Ohio Northern University organizes the gallery season for both the Elzay and Stambaugh Galleries. We are always interested in seeing proposals from artists and designers who would be eager to develop an exhibit on campus. In order to best consider your exhibition proposal, we require the following the materials:

Exhibition Proposal / Artist Statement: Please include clear reasons explaining why the galleries are an appropriate venue for your proposal

Curriculum Vitae for Relevant Parties: Artist, Curator, etc.

Slides: Up to 20 labeled with artist name, title of work, date, media, dimensions in inches and an arrow indicating the proper direction.

Selected Press: Newspaper, magazine, Web site articles

Self–addressed stamped envelope: Due to the volume of materials we receive, we cannot provide return postage for submissions. If you would like your materials to be returned, please provide appropriate postage and materials for their return.

Please keep in mind that the galleries receive a number of proposals every year. The proposals are reviewed on a quarterly basis. You will receive a reply within four months of your submission. Please do not telephone regarding the status of your materials, as we respond to all of the submissions after each quarterly review.
