The Esther M. Klein Art Gallery (EKG), located at the University City Science Center in Philadelphia, accepts submissions for art exhibits January 1 through April 1 of each year. Since 1976, EKG exhibition initiatives have celebrated the work of both local and internationally known artists, inventors and scientists. Proposals should explore the intersection between art/science/technology with an emphasis on contemporary issues and new media. EKG seeks to exhibit work that is inspired by science and technology, incorporates tools and concepts from science and technology, and/or is created through collaborations between artists and scientists. For consideration, artists/curators should submit:

  1. 10 - 20 images on CD or time-based work on DVD

  3. Resume

MISSION AND HISTORY
The mission of the Esther Klein Art Gallery (EKG) is to positively impact the cultural life of both our immediate neighborhood of West Philadelphia and the broader Philadelphia community. EKG aims to engage the public and school children by using the creative arts as a platform to explore relationships between art science and technology. Our gallery talks, panel discussions and education programs are designed to complement the range of art, science & technology exhibitions held each year. All EKG events are free and open to the public.
