Public Artist Image Bank
Utah Public Art Program (UPA)
The Utah Public Art Program (UPA) maintains an image bank of Utah artists' work in all visual media that are interested in public art commissions. Resident Utah artists are included in this slide bank for consideration in selected projects and as a resource for architects, corporations, individuals and other agencies seeking artists to create public works. While the image bank is for Utah artists only, most of the Utah Public Art Program projects are open to all artists living in Utah and anywhere in the United States.
The image bank is a valuable tool for locating artists that are interested in public art projects in Utah. The bank is sorted by medium (sculpture, painting, glass, ceramic, multi-media, etc.) Please call us at the Public Art Program to set up an appointment to view the image bank.
For Utah artists interested in having their work included in the Utah Public Art Program's image bank please click below to download the registration form. Please include no more than one CD with up to 10 images in PC compatible format with an accompanying identification sheet. As an alternative we can also accept 35mm slides suitable for carousel projection (glass mounted slides are too thick) inside a 9"x 11" clear plastic slide file sheet with this form. Each slide should be labeled with the artist's name, indication of orientation of the slide and the corresponding identification sheet number. Please also include your resume that includes past public art experience and contact information.
