Exhibition Proposals

KUMF Gallery

KUMF Gallery’s mission is to expose our community to contemporary visual art. KUMF Gallery has a solid 30-year history of supporting emerging and established visual artists.Over the years, KUMF Gallery has educated and enlightened viewers of all ages and backgrounds by offering them events and workshops related to the exhibits.

KUMF Gallery accepts exhibition proposals in the following categories: painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fiber art, mixed media and photography.

KUMF Gallery exhibits all genres (landscape, still life, portrait, etc.) and styles of art - from figurative to abstract.


Please submit the following:
10 photographs of 10 pieces of work labeled with the artist’s name, title of work, date of execution, size, medium (actual work not accepted)
an identification sheet with a list of the works submitted that includes titles of works, dates of execution, sizes, and mediums
a single page artist’s resume
a fifty (50) word artist’s statement about the work submitted

The Exhibition Committee reviews portfolios three (3) times a year: February, June and October. Your portfolio must be received in the first week of the month in order to be included in that month’s review. If your portfolio is submitted after the first week of the review month, it will be included in the next scheduled review. KUMF Gallery does not guarantee exhibits for all submissions received. After the review, approved portfolios are placed in our Active File from which KUMF Gallery curates all regular exhibitions. The gallery will notify the artists promptly about the status of their submissions.
