Art Design and a Taste of Summer

Living Crafts Ltd.
Blenheim Palace
Oxfordshire, England
29th - 30th May 2010

This exciting new show is being launched over the late May Bank Holiday weekend and will take place in the parkland against the backdrop of the imposing Blenheim Palace, just outside Oxford. A rich mix of high quality art, design and craft, together with the very best hand picked speciality food and drink, combine to bring together a summer show not to be missed.

This event will host some of the UK’s finest contemporary artists and designers, craftsmen and women, featuring a vast selection of stylish work from around the country. They will be displaying original paintings, ceramics, furniture, jewellery, textiles, sculpture, glass, photography, silverware and much more. Many will be demonstrating their work and visitors will have the opportunity to get some hands on experience in some of the specialist workshops that will be running throughout the day.

Emerging Designers

'EMERGING DESIGNERS' is a new addition to Art, Design & A Taste of Summer in 2010, to be held at Blenheim Palace over the late May bank holiday.

We are introducing a pavilion at the 2010 event which aims to showcase new, talented designers starting work as professional craftsmen. Under a sponsored scheme, carefully selected designers will be given an opportunity to exhibit and demonstrate their work to dedicated craft enthusiasts and potential customers. All forms of art and craft will be eligible from glass, textiles, silversmithing and ceramics to metalwork and woodwork.

If you would like to be considered for a place in the exciting 'Emerging Designers' pavilion, please email angela.bartlett@livingcrafts.co.uk for further details. You will need to have completed your qualification or training within the last three years.
