Exhibition Opportunity for professional artists living in the Philadelphia region.
PAPER WORKS! is a celebration of works that utilizes paper as a medium, including: art books, paper sculpture, papier-mache sculpture, assemblages, collages, constructions and installations; not just works on paper. The content/concepts behind the works are up to the artists.
Submit up to four digital images on CD, no larger than I MB each, 72dpi resolution. Identify each image with artist name, title, medium and dimensions on a separate piece of paper or on entry form. Make sure numbering matches digital submissions.
Artworks must fit in the exhibition display cases
(height 7' x length 8' x wideth 2').
Submit a brief artist statement (no more than half a page) and current resume.

Juror: Winifred A. Lutz
Winifred Lutz is a primary innovator in the field of hand papermaking as an art form. Her travel in Japan and Korea to observe papermaking methods and tools has given her a perspective on the craft that has allowed her to combine European and Asian techniques to create unusual hybrid processes. She has lectured nationally and internationally on her unique paper casting methods. Her works in paper have been exhibited in Europe, Asia, North and South America, and Israel.
