Beanie Central Exhibition

Entries must be received by June 14, 2006

Exhibition Dates
Friday 30 June 2006- Monday 3 July 2006

Entry of work into Beanie Central is free.
All beanies must be for sale.

A 25% commission will be taken from any sold work by the Alice Springs Beanie Festival to run free workshops, run the festival etc.
Unsold work will be returned to the maker.
All work that will fit into a 3 kilo soft postage bag will be returned free of charge.

WHAT CAN YOU SEND?

Each artist may send up to 10 beanies/ beanie sets or tea cosies for sale and exhibition at Beanie Central.

Each artist may also send up to 10 balls, or 10 sets of balls of hand spun yarn.
These must be firmly packaged and labelled.

Beanie sets with matching socks or scarves will be accepted.
No shoes, no lone scarves, no jumpers.
All other items will be returned to the artist, cash on delivery.

Exhibition Open Daily beginning: July 1, 2006

Entry fee $15 per entry and 30% commission.

International Entries:

The entry fee must be paid with an international bank cheque
or in Australian dollars.

Any money owing international artists will be paid with a
National Australia bank cheque in Australian dollars.

6 Mad Hatter’s Prize.
7 Best Tea Cosie

8 Committee prize for the best use of embellishment.
9 Central Australian Prize for Makers of the Region.
10 Beanie Festival Committee Acquisitive Prize for Wonderful and Unusual Work.
11 The Robbie Beard Prize for Innovative Work
12 People's Prize: The Favourite Beanie of 2006
