Everything Old Is New Again Wall Hanging Challenge and Benefit.
The Latimer Center is issuing an Everything Old Is New Again Wall Hanging Challenge and Benefit to be exhibited at the same time as Vintage Revisited, the brainchild of Mary W. Kerr, during the months of January and February 2013. Each item in the exhibit contains vintage blocks or pieces of vintage quilts.
Pieces can be no larger than 24” x 24” and must contain pieces or sections of vintage blocks or quilts. They will be displayed in the east room of the Center at the same time Vintage Revisited is in the auditorium. If you don’t have a vintage piece to work with, Check with the Latimer Center for a vintage block.
This is a benefit for the Latimer Center and all pieces will be for sale with the proceeds going to the Center to further its mission to preserve, promote, display, facilitate the creation of and provide education about the textile arts.
