Texas Guilds’: Award-winning Traditional Quilts

International Quilt Festival/Houston plans to showcase winning traditional quilts and their makers in a special exhibit, Texas Guilds’: Award-winning Traditional Quilts. This exhibit will be one of the highlights of International Quilt Market and Festival/Houston, October 27–November 4, 2012. This exhibit is open to guilds in Texas holding a guild show and contest, a minimum of one show every three years.

We would like to invite you and your guild to participate in this exciting exhibit focusing on the Texas traditional quilter. Simply submit the winning traditional quilts from your last guild show to be considered for inclusion in the exhibit.

You may submit a total of two quilts for our consideration. Quilts must be a minimum of 25" x 25". There is no "made after" date requirement.

Completed submissions with visuals must be received online by April 27, 2012. You will be notified no later than June 1, 2012, regarding the quilts to be included in this exhibit along with shipping instructions. If selected, the quilts will need to arrive in Houston no later than August 31, 2012. Quilts will be returned by the end of November 2012.
