2012-2013 Season
Lillstreet Art Center offers Artist Residencies in all departments and encourages interdisciplinary work.
For the 2012-2013 year Lillstreet Art Center in Chicago is seeking a Textiles Artist in Residence.
The Artist-in-Residence Program will begin September 1st and end August 31st.
Residency includes:
• Workspace in one of the textiles classrooms
• 24-hour access to building
• Monthly stipend of $200
• Free classes in any department
• Opportunities to teach in Lillstreet’s programs after 3 months-(paid)
• Group exhibition with other department resident artists
• Opportunity to curate a textiles gallery show
• Opportunity to host artist lectures
• Access to all equipment and facilities
• Present artist lectures for the community
To be considered for the Lillstreet Artist-in-Residence Program, your application must be submitted online by May 1, 2012.

Applications for all departments for the 2012-2013 Artist-in-Residence program will only be accepted online. Register and upload your images at Slideroom.com. When applying, please submit the following information:

• 10 images of work completed in the last 3 years
• Résumé/CV
• Artist Statement
• Personal statement (one page max) explaining what you hope to accomplish personally and bring to the Lillstreet community. Additionally address what skills and qualities make you a good fit for the Residency Program.
• Names and contacts of 3 references
• $15 application fee
