“Tribute to Fiber Art” Juried Exhibition

4th Annual “Tribute to Fiber Art” Juried Exhibition
BlackRock Center for the Arts

Germantown, Maryland
March 3 thru March 26, 2011


Mission
Traditional and non-traditional materials that are woven and/or stitched will be considered. As the fiber art community continues to grow I support and encourage new techniques while respecting the history of traditional work.
Jodi Walsh

Eligibility: Open to all fiber artists 18 years and over residing in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington DC.

Artwork: Up to 3 original pieces of wall and/or pedestal works. No wearable art.
The display area is restricted to the hanging system on the gallery walls and pedestals.
All wall artwork will be hung on a cable system.

Entry Fee: $35

Award: The winner will recieve a SOLO show the following exhibit year.

Jurors

Jodi Walsh: mixed medium artist, national speaker and founder of the original “Tribute to Fiber Art” Juried Exhibition at APEX Gallery in Washington DC since 2002.

B. J. Adams: a teacher and mixed-media artist, her work has appeared in many books, catalogs, and other publications.

Kim Onley: Gallery Manager, BlackRock Center for the Arts.
