The Philadelphia Folk Festival Craft Show
Deadline:January 30, 2011 (RECEIVE)
The Philadelphia Folk Festival Craft Show
The Philadelphia Folk Festival Craft Show is now accepting applications for 2011. The annually juried exhibition features about 60 exhibitor booths. The 2010 fee for a 10' x 10' space was $500 for the three day festival. This includes electricity and meals. The fee for 2011 has not yet been established.
Who may apply:
The Philadelphia Folk Song Society Festival Craft Show is committed to featuring handmade goods created by the artists and artisans who show them at our event. Items not made by the applicant or the applicant's studio are ineligible. The Craft Jury may occasionally decide, in addition, to feature other examples of indigenous crafts which represent the folk culture of an area.
How to apply:
Please fill in the application completely. The application will be considered complete only when you have also sent us 4 images of your work and one of your booth. The booth image should be in an outdoor setting. You can upload those images as you fill out the application. This is the best way to apply. Slides are acceptable, but not preferred. If sending slides, PRINT A COPY of the completed application BEFORE you hit the submit button, and enclose the printed copy of the application with the slides you send for the jury to consider. Slides will be returned if you send a stamped self addressed envelope.
