Breaking Traditions
The American Sewing Expo

Novi, Michigan
2010 to 2011

Curated by: Lynn Krawczyk FibraArtysta@earthlink.net

Breaking Traditions is an open call art quilt exhibit. It is an excellent show opportunity and includes various prizes. The exhibit hangs at The American Sewing Expo in Novi, Michigan.

Breaking Traditions has become a community effort, helping to support the fundraising projects of fellow fiber/mixed media artists.

The 2010 exhibit will benefit Claudine Intner's Art Now for Autism. In honor of Claudine's efforts to raise money for autism research, the theme for 2010 will be "in my words..."

The exhibit features 12"x12" art quilts. Participants for the 2010 show will express the ways in which autism has effected their lives. If you do not personally know anyone who has autism or has been effected by it, you can still participate by making a quilt in support of autism research.

$10 of the $15 entry fee will be donated to Autism Speaks through Art Now for Autism.

This is an open call exhibit, everyone is encouraged to participate. Prizes are donated for those in the exhibit and an Exhibit Favorite is chosen.
