The Phoenix Gallery, celebrating its 51st year, will sponsor a 2009-10 Fellowship Program. An artist who is accepted for Fellowship membership will receive 15 months free membership at Phoenix Gallery in New York City in September 2009 through December 2010. The artist will have all the privileges and obligations of membership. The artist will receive one solo exhibition (solo exhibition would be either in Gallery I or Gallery II) and will be included in any group shows.

Artists from the US and outside the US are invited to apply.

$40 application fee

About the Gallery:
The Phoenix Gallery is located in the heart of the art gallery district in Chelsea, New York. Founded in 1958, the gallery now has artist-members from around the world, all dedicated to the highest level of professionalism. Each brings his/her own unique style and vision to the diverse group that makes up the Phoenix Gallery. These artists, all carefully chosen for membership by Phoenix artist peers, work in all media and create art that encompasses and reflects wide cultural and ethnic interests. The gallery has 2500 square feet, over 190 linear feet of display area. The Phoenix Gallery has a full time director who runs the gallery and promotes and develops contacts with private individuals, art consultants and corporations. The Phoenix Gallery is a non-profit 501-(c) (3) organization.
