Cultural Fiber - Civilization, Ethos & Strength of Characteris a juried fiber arts exhibition that narrates how traditions of fiber arts compose works of significance existence, respected history, and cultural diversity. It is an opportunity to revel in images, messages, and stories of character, conscience, conduct, and courage to celebrate the satisfaction fiber arts creates. The exhibition is open to all fiber arts media.
The exhibition is a component of the 2009 North Olympic Fiber Arts Festival at the Museum & Arts Center in the Sequim - Dungeness Valley.
Eligibility:
- Open to all artists living in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, British Columbia, or Alberta.
- All formats of fiber art will be considered, including wall-hung, free-standing, or pedestal mounted. Entries must be original and must not be copied, derivatives, or based on other copyrighted or published
work. - Please include the dimensions and weight of your work with each entry.
- Maximum of three entries per artist.
