The Silvermine Galleries are recognized as one of New England’s most respected showcases for established and emerging Artists. Frequently changing exhibitions include one-person shows by Guild Artists, national and regional juried Competitions, and curated shows.

Juror: Douglas Dreishpoon, Chief Curator, Albright-Knox Art Gallery

Eligibility: Open to all artists, 17 years of age and older, residing in CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI & VT. Original artwork in any media will be accepted. Giclée reproductions of original works will not be accepted. Eligible artwork must have been completed after January 1, 2007, and fall within the restrictions.

How To Apply
Wall-Hung Works: May not exceed 96” in height or width, including frames. All work must be ready for hanging.

Indoor or Outdoor Sculptures: Should not exceed 12’h x 4’w x 4’d including base. Outdoor sculpture will be placed
in the Garden Gallery – just outside the main gallery.

Installations: Installations may not stipulate altering the character of the gallery wall or floor. Additional restrictions
can be found on the SGAC website. Site-specific installations outside of the building will be considered with proper diagrams and a paragraph describing project.

Motion Media: Artist must provide and deliver all components required for viewing artwork.

To enter, mail completed entry form along with one CDRom or DVD of your artwork(s), and the entry fee. Artists may enter one or more works of art. CD ROMs or DVDs will not be returned.

Entry fee of $25 per artwork. Guild artists may submit one • complimentary artwork.

Awards
The juror has at his discretion a total of $4,000 - $8,000 in cash awards.
