21st Annual International Juried Show

DEADLINE: December 2, 2006


The 21st Annual International Juried Show is being presented at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey, February 9 to March 30, 2007. This critically acclaimed show is open to artists with eligible work in all media from United States and around the globe.

Juror
Laura Hoptman is the Senior Curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.

Awards/Insurance/Sales
Cash awards totaling $1,800 will be presented at the exhibition's Opening Reception.

Best in Show - $1,000
(3) Merit Awards - $200 each
Watercolor Award - $100
Photography Award - $100

Eligible Work
The exhibition is open to artists in all media from across the country and abroad. Each artist may enter NO MORE than two recent pieces for consideration. One 35mm slide must be submitted for EACH work.

Accepted works cannot be substituted and are committed for the duration of the exhibit. No artwork shall be returned after the installation until the final exhibition date; and artwork will only be returned to the original location and lender or his/her authorized agent on the date(s) stated herein.

Jurying Process
Preliminary screening will be made from slides. Final selection for exhibition and awards will be made from actual work of art requested by the juror. Accepted artists will be notified by telephone. No work requested by the judge for second jurying will be accepted by mail unless return postage and insurance is guaranteed.

12/12/06 Preliminary selection by juror from slides
12/14/06 - 12/21/06 Accepted artists will be notified by phone during this week. Notification ONLY to those accepted for the first round of jurying.

- 2 Slides - Properly Labeled - non-refundable
- Completed Entry form(Typed or Printed Clearly)
