The Museum of Northern History invites artists in all stages of their career to participate in this exhibition celebrating the beauty and inspiration of migratory birds. The Art of Birds – A Juried Exhibition is open to National (Canada) and International artists.

Exhibition Description:
Each year, billions of birds embark on an incredible journey that spans continents, captivating the hearts of those fortunate enough to witness it. This remarkable phenomenon reminds us of the beauty of all birds, whether migratory or not.

The Art of Birds highlights the crucial role birds play in maintaining the ecological balance of nature. The artwork in this exhibition will honour all aspects of birds – life, habitat, behaviour and physical beauty. The adaptability of birds reminds us to safeguard their habitats, and protect their migration routes while the world at large adapts to ongoing climate challenges.
