A portrait can tell a story of someone at moment in time, of something happening around them. It could be the memory of someone lost to time and their sweet reflection. Images might suggest that a person was present because of what they left behind. A portrait might be the icons that tell the story of someone's passions, their pets or their personality. Perhaps it’s how they wish to be seen and remembered. We would like to see your take on the genre of portraiture, human or animal.
Core New Art Space invites all artists of any mediums, 2d & 3d (except video/installations). Entries must be submitted electronically by June 12th, 2024 and accompanied by a $35.00 fee (for up to 3 works).
Work must be no larger than 48” inches on its longest side, including frame. Work not within these parameters will be disqualified.
