Each year a fun and inspirational show With international guest collections, challenging workshops by quilting experts and a rich blend of fabrics, haberdashery and everything you may need to quilt.

With as center point the most diverse quilt contest of Europe. High quality artwork from all over the world will compete for the prestigious prizes and trophies. Each year we are proud to welcome beautifull craftwork and we are delighted to see the quality and craftmanship grow over the years.

RULES FOR COMPETITORS ELIGIBILITY
Any garment, quilt or wall hanging in patchwork, quilting or appliqué completed since 30 april 2010. An entry must consist of three layers which are sewn together. The main material of the entry must be textile. Also kit-quilts and tied-quilts are excluded from the contest. Garments are possible too. One entry per category. No more entries than two per person. Please use a separate form for each entry.

Entries entered in the novice category must be patched and quilted by the maker him or herself. If you have won a prize in the novice or intermediate category you are obliged to enter your work this year in the subsequent category. The jurors have the right to assign an entry to a different category if deemed more appropriate.

Width & height restrictions quilt: min. 60 cm - max. 300 cm

AWARDS
To the champion: THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP CERTIFICATE and a Bernina sewing machine.

Additional trophies for colour, craftsmanship, design and creativity. Special awards for traditional and longarm quilt.

Entry forms should be send in before 15 January 2011 to office address in Leende.

Halfway during February you will receive notice whether your entry is accepted into the competition.
