Keyholder Residency
Pyramid Atlantic
Pyramid Atlantic offers fully equipped studios for papermaking, etching, lithography, relief, screen-printing, letterpress, and digital printing. Keyholder residency opportunities support artists who have an interest in printmaking, papermaking and book arts and whose talent deserves to be recognized. The artists provide their own materials. Keyholder resident artists work within the schedule of workshops and scheduled studio activities. They are enriched by the supportive, creative community comprised of artist-staff, interns, other visiting artists, and the public.
Keyholder Resident Artists receive:
• 24-hour studio access, but must be willing to work around scheduled workshops on the weekends and evenings
• storage space
• basic supplies (solvents, cleaners)
• 20% discount on all workshops
• inclusion in Pyramid Atlantic’s permanent collection
• opportunity to show new work in exhibitions and public events promotion in the Pyramid’s newsletter and website
• opportunity to sell work at Pyramid Atlantic
Artists of all career-stages--emerging, mid-career, and mature artists--are encouraged to apply for these opportunities. Three artists are selected twice a year for a two-five month residency opportunity (fall and spring). Two artists are selected for the summer months of July and August.
