2006-2007 Wind Challenge Exhibitions at Fleisher
Deadline for entries: 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2006
The Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial announces the call for entries for next season's Wind Challenge Exhibitions. This juried, regional competition, sponsored by the Fleisher Art Memorial in cooperation with the Philadelphia Museum of Art, has gained a national reputation for excellence since its establishment in 1978. Each season, Fleisher exhibits the work of twelve selected artists in four three-person exhibitions. These Wind Challenge Exhibitions encourage recognition of local talent and serve as an incentive for members of Fleisher's diverse student audience to move forward with their own creative work.
Eligibility
Artists living within a fifty-mile radius of Philadelphia and working in one of the following categories may apply.
Categories
Artists may select only one category in which to apply:
Painting
Works on Paper
Photography
Sculpture/Installation
Crafts (All crafts, including ceramics, glass, fiber, metals, and wood)
