Blanche Ames National Juried Art Exhibition

During her time at Borderland, Blanche Ames created an immense and beautiful body of artwork, much of which still adorns the walls of the Ames Mansion. It was a passion, one that she shared with her husband as the illustrator of his many works of scholarship.

Now, celebrating 100 years of the Ames Mansion, Curators Norma Urban and Robert Bendt bring the Blanche Ames National Juried Art Exhibition to Borderland for its ninth year. Sculptor and Watercolorist David Lang will juror the 2011 exhibition. Prizes ranging from $250 to $1,250 will be presented to winning artists during the show's opening reception.
