For over 30 years, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center has demonstrated its commitment to artists working in the field of book arts, printmaking and paper-making. Located in the heart of downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center leads and inspires the community through artistic excellence and community engagement. PAAC is proud to announce a juried exhibition in conjunction with the 13th Biennial Book Arts Fair, “Outside the Margin,” November 7-25, 2014.

LOCATION

Work will be exhibited in Pyramid Atlantic Art Center’s Second Floor Gallery

ELIGIBILITY

Artists are invited to enter up to 5 original or limited edition artist books, sculptural books, book objects, altered books, or book installations. Acceptable printmaking media: relief, intaglio, inkjet, and/or screen-print techniques.

Fee (USD): $35.00

JUROR

Doug Litts, current head of the Smithsonian American Art Museum/National Portrait Gallery Library, and former library director at the Corcoran Gallery and College of Art.


PRIZES
• Purchase prize will be awarded by juror, and work will become part of the Smithsonian American Art Museum/National Portrait Gallery Library’s collection.
• Second place award of $200
• Third place award of $100
