Lillstreet Art Center offers Artist Residencies in all departments and encourages interdisciplinary work.

Residencies includes a work space in our classroom studios or working artist studios, free classes, learning and teaching opportunities, basic materials & firings, and a monthly stipend for additional materials or personal use. Residents will also organize a group exhibition for installation in our gallery towards the conclusion of the year.

Residents are expected to be present and at work in their department 20 hours each week. When in the studio, residents should be available to work and interact with students and artists while working on their own artwork. Residents are expected to perform up to eight hours of work for the department on a weekly basis (specific tasks vary by department).

The Artist-in-Residence Program runs September 1 to August 31.

Applications must be submitted by May 10, 2013. Accepted applicants will be notified by June 14, 2013.

Applications for all departments for the 2013/14 Artist-in-Residence program will only be accepted online.
