Call for Papers
Tapestry 2008: The Fine Art of Weaving

Papers are sought on tapestry and its relationship to art/weaving. Themes could include but are not restricted to:

The relationship of the artist to tapestry
Investigations of weaving and tapestry
Cultural diversity – tapestry from specific cultural traditions
Contemporary developments/perspectives – engaging with new technologies

Submissions are invited for:

-45 min. [presentation – in the form of a 400 word abstract and 2 digital 300 dpi images on disk labeled with your name and contact details.
-20 min. presentation - in the form of a 200 word abstract and 1 300 dpi image on disk labeled with your name and contact details.
-PowerPoint Profile (5min) - 200 word artist's bio. + 6 x 72 dpi image disk labeled with your name and contact details.
