Rocky Neck Art Colony
National Exhibit
May 18 - June 10, 2007

ELIGIBILITY

All two- and three-dimensional art is eligible including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and assemblage. You do not have to be a member of the Rocky Neck Art Colony to apply.

AWARDS

Three cash prizes will be awarded.

Karen Quinn, Assistant Curator of Paintings, Art of the Americas, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.

SPECIFICATIONS

Maximum size 48" any side and under 50 lbs. Two-dimensional work must be suitably framed and firmly wired. No sawtooth hangers or sandwich frames.

ENTRY PROCEDURE

Jurying will be done from 35mm slides and images submitted on a CD. Up to three works may be submitted.

Slides must be clearly labeled with the artist's name, title, size (H x W), medium and number to correspond with numbers on entry form. Indicate TOP of slide with arrow.

CD images must be PC-readable and named with title of work and entry number (e.g. weather-1.jpg). We accept JPEG files at 300 dpi, approximately 4" x 5" in size.

Applicants will receive notification of acceptance by May 1.

FEES
There is no entry fee for RNAC members. Non-members pay $25 for up to three entries. In lieu of entry fee, artists may join the Rocky Neck Art Colony, enclosing the $100 membership fee with the application form.
A 30% commission will be collected for any work sold during the exhibition.
