All work is subject to final approval by the jurors’ representative after its arrival. Submission to Spin a Grand Strand implies that the artist understands that all work, without exception, must remain for the duration of the exhibit.

Submitted work can be created using traditional or nontraditional fibers.

Skeins must be formed by yarns made in a two-yard (1.8 meter) loop, secured with four figure-eight ties made of the same yarn. Skeins need to be either 100 yards (90 meters) or between two and four ounces (56.7 grams and 113.4 grams). Identification tags MUST be securely attached to the skein.

Three skeins may be entered per artist. Skeins must be originally conceived and created by the entrant: it should be one-of-a-kind, unpublished, not previously exhibited at a Convergence, and completed within the past two years.

Work executed under classroom supervision is not eligible.

All accepted entries must be sent ready to show and exhibit.

All entries must remain on display until the conclusion of the exhibit.

Various prizes will be available and awarded by the juror.

Calendar Any entries postmarked after these dates will be returned unopened.
