We are interested in exhibiting a wide range of exceptional textile art. The works of those juried into Needle Culture will cross into the arena of conceptual fine art while, at the same time, be rooted in craft’s traditional processes of handwork.


Eligibility
Needle Culture: Contemporary Mixed Media Textiles will be a national juried and invitational exhibition of textile art from artists across the nation. Our objective is to exhibit the best of American mixed media textile art. We invite submissions that reflect a wide range of works in the fiber medium. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and reside in the United States. Only artists utilizing textiles and/or textile techniques will be considered.


Entry Fee and images
Entry fee is $35, non-refundable, for up to four (4) entries.

Jurors
Juliarose Loffredo, Founder of Craft Liberation Front, author and professor of design at Northern Arizona University.

Darcy Falk is a studio artist and writer. Her work has been shown at galleries across the U.S. and her writing has been published nationally in textile magazines. Her studio and gallery, Darcy Falk Textile Arts, is located in downtown Flagstaff.
