32nd Annual Art in the Park

Deadline: Wednesday, March 22, 2006

This annual arts and crafts fair is held in West Lincoln Park during Rainbow Weekend. Over 130 artisans offer unique, hand-crafted items made from wood, metal, clay, leather, fiber, and glass, plus fine art, jewelry, sculpture, photography, and more. Art-In-The-Park maintains its unique status by limiting eligibility to artists and craftpersons who display work entirely of their own original concept, design and execution. Event highlights include free live entertainment - music, dance, children's theatre and more - children's activities, plus a variety of refreshment booths. This widely popular 2-day event attracts 8,000 - 10,000 people each year.

Admission is free. Art-In-The-Park is open to the public Saturday, July 8, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, July 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
